New Partnership: OPSI & Relution

New Partnership: OPSI & Relution

Mobile Device Management for OPSI Customers – Together with Relution

The demands placed on modern device management are constantly increasing. In addition to traditional clients such as Windows, Linux, and macOS devices, mobile devices now play a central role. This is exactly where we come in.

With our new partnership with Relution, we are expanding the OPSI ecosystem with a powerful Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) and Mobile Device Management (MDM) solution. Together, we provide an integrated approach for managing both traditional clients and mobile devices in a secure and privacy-compliant manner.

Relution – UEM & MDM „Made in Germany“

Relution is a powerful UEM and MDM platform “Made in Germany”, specifically designed for organizations with high security and data protection requirements.

Relution enables centralized management of smartphones, tablets, laptops, and other endpoints. Apps and configurations can be deployed across devices — platform-independent and vendor-neutral — ensuring maximum flexibility and control.

Combining Strengths for Maximum Impact

The newly developed interface between OPSI and Relution connects the strengths of both solutions:

  • OPSI handles automated operating system installation.
  • Devices can then be automatically enrolled in Relution, making them immediately available for centralized UEM/MDM management.
  • OPSI’s update subscriptions ensure continuous updates of key software packages and security patches, which can be distributed automatically.

This creates a seamless transition from provisioning to device management and update management — supporting efficient and sustainable IT operations.

“The partnership with OPSI greatly expands our capabilities. The image functionality in particular perfectly complements Relution and enables our customers to manage their devices even more efficiently.”
Stefan Jauker – CTO of Relution

Holistic Device Management for Schools and IT Teams

For the education sector, public IT environments, and organizations of all sizes, this collaboration delivers clear advantages:

  • A centralized overview of all devices—PCs, tablets, and smartphones alike
  • Automated provisioning and management with minimal administrative effort
  • Consistent policy enforcement and security control
  • GDPR-compliant implementation through German software solutions

OPSI Evolves with Modern Requirements

Through the partnership between OPSI and Relution, we are proactively addressing the growing demands of modern IT infrastructures. Customers benefit from comprehensive device management that covers both traditional clients and mobile endpoints without compromise and with maximum flexibility.

“With Relution, we are gaining a strong partner in the UEM/MDM sector. Together, we offer our customers an integrated solution that optimally combines automation, overview, and security.”
Dr. Bardo Wolf – co-founder and managing director of UIB

We look forward to working with Relution and continuing to develop OPSI in line with a sovereign and sustainable IT strategy.
